DOCK DAY — As always, Dock Day will be at noon on the Sunday of Memorial weekend. I believe the water will be cold again this year. I have to say that last year was one of the very few times I have been a bit disappointed during my tenure on the TLYCC board. Only 4 club members came prepared to get in the water to install the docks, and the average age of these members was close to 60 years old. It is REALLY important to be prepared (wetsuit, booties, etc.) to get in the water, but this put a real burden on a few (older) members when we have quite a lot of young strapping folks that could participate. Please, if you are physically able, come prepared to help out in the water and we will get everything finished quickly. THANKS!

Please plan on joining us for the Dock Day Potluck at 4 PM on Sunday of Dock Day. TLYCC will provide beverages, burgers, hot dogs, etc. for no charge. Members should bring a dish to pass. It is a really great way to say “hi” to all of our friends that we may not have seen since last summer.
