The BRERETON REGATTA CHAMPION TROPHY is a perpetual trophy awarded to the winner(s) of any regatta during the year. It was donated by Dr. Robert L. Brereton in 1986.
The MUGGERS CUP, originated in 1939, was awarded to a first time winning E skipper in a championship race. The skipper was then admitted into the “Muggers’ Society” and was entitled to recieve a mug similar to those donated in 1939 through the generosity of Mr. Gordon B. Miller. Today, the Muggers’s Cup has been expanded to include the first time winner of any active championship TLYCC fleet. Muggers’ Cups are provided by the recipient’s family.
The SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHIES are awarded to the winners of the weekend championship series races held throughout the summer.
The SPORTSMANSHIP TROPHY is awarded to the TLYCC sailor (adult or junior) who most embodies sportsmanship, love for the sport of sailing, and care for other competitors. Sailors will be nominated, anyone can nominate a sailor, and the Race Management Committee will review nominations and award the trophy. It was donated by the Johanson family in 2015 in memory of Jim Johanson.
